Why You Need an Accredited Buyer Representative

An Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) provides you with the opportunity to use her/his knowledge and expertise when you are buying a home. Such a realty consultant offers much more than simply finding the home of your dreams. You need someone who has received advanced training in serving buyers, someone who is a skilled and experienced negotiator, someone who will provide you with financial advice and referral to appropriate lenders, and someone who knows the neighborhoods in the town where you want to live. As a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), I adhere to the NAR Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. As an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), I am your best resource when buying a home. As your real estate consultant, I will…

  • save you endless amounts of time, money, and frustration
  • help you avoid many a “wild goose chase”
  • help you purchase any home you want—whether it is listed elsewhere or is being sold by owner directly
  • put you in touch with the best lenders in the area so that you are pre-qualified and pre-approved to purchase the home of your dreams in advance of making an offer
  • discuss down payments, closing costs and other financial details with you
  • provide general information about the community as well as more specific information about schools, churches, shopping, and transportation
  • provide information about the importance of home inspection and whom to hire for this service
  • present your offer to the homeowner and assist you through the process of negotiating the best price for the home
  • bring objectivity to the buying transaction and point out both the advantages and disadvantages of a particular property.

All of the above assistance is available to you without charge. In nearly all cases, the seller pays the realtors’ commission.

I am dedicated to helping you find and buy the home of your dreams. My success depends on your success.
